Handbooks provide students and families with information to assist with day to day life at Korowa.

Korowa Uniforms, both academic and sports, are available from the Bob Stewart store in East Malvern or online.
Appointments can be made at Bob Stewart for personalised service, particularly for parents new to Korowa. An interpreter is available for International students if requested.

Konnect is Korowa’s learning management system, a web-based program through which teachers deliver resources, tests and assignments, and through which students submit work, participate in a range of activities and interact with their teachers.
Current parents can support their daughter’s learning by using Konnect to view task descriptions, continuous online reporting, timetables and past reports.

Korowa’s Parent Portal provides current parents with quick access to continuous online reporting (Junior School), absence information, financial receipts and statement history, parent-student-teacher interview bookings, and the ability to update personal contact details.

Curriculumguides
Korowa has developed a number of Navigators to assist students and families to better understand what’s on offer at Korowa. From subjects and electives available to information about the wellbeing program, our mission and values, and signature programs. These provide a comprehensive guide to all the opportunities available to students.
Life atKorowa
Bring your own device
All students from Years 5 to 12 are required to have a laptop for use in the classroom as part of their learning. At Korowa we operate a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program which provides families with greater flexibility.
To assist families, a dedicated portal for parents to purchase a device through our selected technology partner. All devices purchased through the portal meet the School’s minimum required specifications and include a 3-year warranty. Devices purchased through the portal are delivered with the School’s software image installed, ready to use out of the box. All necessary software for students is contained within this image.

School Stream
We encourage families to download the School Stream app which is a school communication platform designed to deliver information to school communities. It is a convenient way to deliver real time digital school communication with instant notifications.
Operoo
Operoo, formerly known as CareMonkey is a simple way for parents and guardians to sign forms, grant permissions and safely share emergency and medical data digitally with Korowa.
Lunch Orders
Flexischools is a convenient online ordering and payment platform used to order lunches from the School Canteen, Tuckies.
Before and After School Care
Korowa runs a Before School Care Program for Junior School students from 7.30am – 8.35am. Please enquire with the School for more information.
The After School Program is run by an external provider, Extend, and held in the ELC on the ground floor of the Junior School.
Students from ELC to Year 6 are welcome to attend the program. Extend’s staff ensure children are cared for in a safe and secure environment while being happy and engaged in a variety of activities.

Homework Hub
Korowa offers a supervised after-school Homework Hub throughout the term, on Monday to Thursday from 3.15 – 6.00pm in the Learning Commons.
It is a free service for Korowa students in Years 4 to 6, students are required to register prior to attending and must be signed out.
Students in Years 7 to 12 are also able to access the Senior Learning Commons after school to study.
Senior Learning Commons hours
Monday to Thursday: 8am – 6pm
Friday: 8am – 4pm
