The Bowerbird Op shop opened its doors in September 2009 and is located in the heart of the main street at 53 Binney Street Euroa and raises significant funds for use of Euroa Health Inc.
Notably, in 2021 Euroa Health moved to an electronic Medication Management Software system and computers on wheels allowing care at the bedside which was funded in full by the Opshop.
Euroa Health makes regular purchases of equipment for the facility from the funds which include beds, wheelchairs and other capital items used by the organisation like commercial kitchen appliances, trailers for the Maintenance staff, computerised temperature checking devices to support COVID monitoring. We thank both the Volunteers of the Opshop and the wider community for the ongoing support they provide to the service.
If you are in the area, please pop in and grab a bargain.
The volunteer team at the shop are keen to grow their team so if you are interested in being part of the Opshop team click here.
Donations to the Opshop
It is preferred that donations are left during business hours, however there is room for donations to be left at the rear door accessed by Bakehouse Lane from Kirkland Avenue Euroa outside of hours.
The Bowerbird Opshop accepts donations of items that are in good condition, but we ask the community to not leave goods that are unable to be sold as this means that we have to dispose of them at a cost the service.
